Workchain is currently seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Derby on a permanent basis.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. 

This is a field based role covering maintenance and repairs across retail shops in the East Midlands, with occasional support in a Derby head office bakery.

The position includes on call duties with on call premiums paid.

This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis with excellent company benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance including PPM and emergency repairs on in store machinery

Maintain and repair in store equipment including ovens, fridges, lighting and plumbing

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations are met at all times

Work closely with store teams and contractors to resolve issues efficiently

Maintain tools, supplies and accurate service records

Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times

Key Experience:

Hands on experience in maintenance and repairs within a maintenance environment

Strong fault finding and problem solving skills

Candidates will hold a full UK driving licence and have a flexible approach to working hours and demands.

And experience with PLC's (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), panel wiring and steam systems and background in food production environments would be advantageous

Qualifications:

City & Guilds or MVQ / BTEC in Electrical Maintenance / Installation

18th Edition (BS 7671:2022) certification

Hours of work are 45 hours per week, Monday to Saturday with 1 day off in the week with overtime available during busy periods and call out premiums.

The starting salary is £36kpa to £40kpa, with excellent company benefits and call out premiums.
