Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour unpaid break)

Workchain is currently recruiting a Food Production Operative for a well-established pet food manufacturer based in Alfreton. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growing industry, specialising in the production and packaging of raw frozen pet food products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate on a production line handling raw meat and frozen products

• Weighing, batching, and mixing ingredients for pet food manufacturing

• Packing and labelling products accurately for frozen distribution

• Maintaining hygiene and safety standards in a cold working environment

• Following strict food handling and health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Experience in food production or working in chilled/frozen environments is preferred

• Comfortable working with raw meat and in low-temperature conditions

• Physically fit and able to lift products throughout the shift

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team

• Reliable and available for full-time weekday shifts
