We are seeking experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Drivers (FTL) to join a busy industrial distribution centre based in Burton-On-Trent. This is a temporary opportunity offering competitive pay, overtime potential, and the chance to work with a leading name in the sector.

Pay & Hours

• Hourly rate: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour

• Temporary contract with ongoing work available

Role Overview

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse and yard. You will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, move, and store materials, while working closely with the wider warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock and materials

• Loading and unloading vehicles, including heavy or bulky items

• Assisting with order picking, packing, and general warehouse duties when required

• Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults or issues

• Ensuring all goods are stored, stacked, and secured correctly

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

• Following company procedures and adhering to all health & safety guidelines

Skills & Experience

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited) is essential

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, yard, or distribution environment

• Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced setting

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Flexibility to support general warehouse duties when required

• Reliable and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
