Forklift Driver Counterbalance – Wigston

Workchain, a leading recruitment agency in the UK, is currently seeking a Forklift Driver Counterbalance for our client based in Wigston. This is a temporary position and the candidate will be working in the industrial industry. The role requires a responsible and reliable candidate who is able to manage various forklift-related tasks in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move and stack goods and materials safely
• Loading and unloading vehicles using the forklift
• Conducting daily checks on the forklift to ensure its working condition
• Participating in other warehouse-related tasks when required
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
• Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physical fitness to be able to lift heavy objects when required
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this temporary position is from £12 to £13.5 per hour.
