Job Title: HGV 2 Refuse Driver 

Salary: £550.00 - £600.00 per week

Location: Ilkeston, UK

Working Hours - Monday to Friday 06:30 - 14:30 

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and professional HGV 2 Refuse Driver to join our client's team in Ilkeston. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV 2 refuse vehicle, adhering to all relevant road and traffic regulations.
- Collect and dispose of waste materials, ensuring bins and containers are emptied efficiently.
- Carry out regular vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of collections made and provide necessary paperwork as required.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with the team and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Possession of a valid HGV Class 2 license (Category C).
- Full CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience as an HGV driver within the refuse collection industry is highly desirable.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Excellent knowledge of UK road and traffic regulations.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
