Workchain is currently seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in South Cerney. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles following all traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and roadworthiness
- Deliver goods to specified locations in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete all necessary paperwork
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
