As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Driving a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) Class 1, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
2. Safely and securely loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
3. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
4. Planning and navigating routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to the designated locations.
5. Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
6. Providing exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and resolving any queries or concerns.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving license.
2. Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in HGV Class 1 driving.
3. Evident knowledge of UK driving regulations and road safety rules.
4. Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts and willingness to undertake overtime if necessary.
