HGV Class 2 Driver - Temporary Role in Derby

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for your next temporary opportunity? Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled driver to join our client's team in Derby. This exciting role is within the driving industry and offers an attractive pay rate ranging from £14.00 to £15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Ensure adherence to all relevant driving regulations and company policies
- Complete pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securement and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and punctuality
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients regarding delivery schedules and any changes
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained in good working condition

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving license
- CPC qualification
- Previous experience in a similar driving role, preferably within the driving industry
- Knowledge of relevant driving regulations and current road traffic laws
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- A positive and professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
