Warehouse Operative – Burton-On-Trent (£12.21 per hour)

We are looking for motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s busy distribution centre in Burton-On-Trent. This is a fantastic temporary opportunity with competitive pay, overtime potential, and the chance to develop valuable skills within a leading industrial environment.

Pay & Hours

• Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour

• Temporary contract with ongoing work available

• Full-time hours across weekdays (overtime may be required during peak periods)

• Shift patterns may include early starts, late finishes, or weekend work (flexibility is a plus)

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring that goods are processed, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. You will work within a dynamic team, supporting a smooth and efficient supply chain operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch with a high level of accuracy

• Loading and unloading deliveries, including manual handling of materials

• Safely operating warehouse equipment (training provided where required)

• Stock control: checking, labelling, and storing materials correctly

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment

• Following all health & safety regulations and company procedures

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage, but full training is provided

• Ability to work to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Good level of attention to detail and communication skills

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

• A team player with a reliable and flexible approach to work
