Job Overview:

An opportunity has arisen for a Recycling Operative to join a well-established recycling and resource management provider in the Derby area. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in contributing to a cleaner, greener environment.

Main Duties:

• Sorting and segregating recyclable materials (e.g., plastics, cardboard, metals)

• Assisting with loading and unloading recycling containers and vehicles

• Keeping work areas tidy and free from hazards

• Supporting general site operations as directed

• Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental procedures are followed

• Previous experience in a recycling, waste, or warehouse setting is beneficial

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
