We are recruiting on behalf of a timber merchants based in Thrapston, Northamptonshire.

The hours are 1400-0000 Monday to Thursday with a 30 minute break deducted for lunch/dinner.

There are substantial overtime hours available, the first 10 hours of OT are paid at time and a half and any hours over the 10 OT hours are paid at double time.

Pay rates per hour:

First 38 hours: £13.50

OT (first 10): £20.25

OT (over 10): £27.00

The work is very physical and involves working in a team assembling and moving roof trusses. Items can weight up to 500kg and would involve working in a team of 6 lifting and maneuvering the trusses. Full training is provided on the job including counter-balanace training.

Own transport is advisable as public transport is limited at best at the standard finishing time.
