Workchain is currently seeking an Operations Team Leader for our client in Burton on Trent, DE14 on a permanent basis.

This varied role will require candidates to rotate through all areas of the operation on a quarterly basis including order picking and fulfilment, operations, improvement and people planning.

The main purpose of this role is to lead the dispensary team in all areas of the clients operations to deliver quality, compliant, safe, and efficient part of the business in line with company KPI’s.

This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

·        To ensure that all teams with the operations manage the allocation of stock and deliver 100% fulfilment to clients

·        To ensure that WMS process are always followed

·        Ensure near miss and dispensing incidents are reported in line with regulations to internal departments

·        To manage the support of internal queries to ensure that they are resolved and returned to the dispensing process before daily cut offs

·        To proactively seek out additional opportunities for continuous improvement to improve the operations

·        To conduct internal staff training including new starters and 1 to 1 reviews

·        To track, monitor and manage individuals against clearly identified KPI’s

·        To ensure SOP’s are reviewed in line with company time frames

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

·        Proven experience of managing a team to meet company and department KPI’s

·        Experienced in managing staff in line with company and regulatory policies and procedures

·        Excellent team management skills, capable of building, developing and motivating the team

·        Excellent communication skills

·        A good understanding of IT and packages

·        Strong analytical skills

·        Excellent attention to detail

Ideally candidates will have a strong client service experience, be able to adhere to (CQC / GDP / NMC / GPHC / ICO) standards and have a good understanding of the regulatory requirements for pharmacy, however full training will be provided.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm and 9.30am to 6.30pm on a weekly rotating basis, to ensure Team Leader coverage.

The starting salary is £32.5kpa to £35kpa, with excellent company benefits.
