Job Title: HGV Repair Technician Location: Stoke on Trent, ST1 Type: Permanent Salary: £47kpa including overtime plus excellent company benefitsWorkchain is currently seeking a HGV Repair Technician for our nationally recognised client based in Stoke on Trent, ST1 on a permanent basis.This role involves working on a variety of HGV vehicles, trailers and large vans ensuring they are maintained and repaired to the highest of standards.Key Responsibilities:Performing routine maintenance on a variety of HGV vehicles, trailers and vans Repairs, conducting necessary repairs to ensure vehicles and trailers are road and service ready Diagnostics and fault finding, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and rectify faults Safety inspections, performing safety inspections to ensure all vehicles and trailers comply with health and safety regulations prior to useDesirable Skills and Qualifications:A professionally recognised qualification in heavy vehicle / plant maintenance and repair, NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent is ideal Experience, previous experience working on HGV vehicles, trailers and vans Driving Licence, full UK Driving Licence and Driver CPC Card, a HGV Driving Licence would be advantageous however not essentialIdeally candidates must have a good working knowledge of petrol, diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as an experience of working with various HGV vehicles, trailers and vans.Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 10.00pm to 6.30am and Friday 7.00pm to 6.30am.Further overtime is available during busy periods.The starting salary is £47kpa which includes overtime, with excellent company benefits.Please apply online and complete the application form to be considered for this position.
