Workchain is currently seeking a Drivers Mate to join our client in Reading for a temporary role in the driving industry. The successful candidate will work alongside a driver, assisting with deliveries and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading of goods
- Ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise
- Following all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications required:
- A valid UK driving license is preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
