Workchain is currently seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Derby on a permanent basis.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a field based role covering maintenance and repairs across retail shops in the East Midlands, with occasional support in a Derby head office.

The position includes on call duties with on call premiums paid.

This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.

Immediate interviews and starts are available.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Perform general maintenance including PPM and emergency repairs on in store machinery

·        Maintain and repair in store equipment including ovens, fridges, lighting and plumbing

·        Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations are met at all times

·        Work closely with store teams and contractors to resolve issues efficiently

·        Maintain tools, supplies and accurate service records

·        Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times

Key Experience:

·        Hands on experience in maintenance engineering role and repairs within a maintenance environment

·        Strong fault finding and problem solving skills

·        Candidates will hold a full UK driving licence

·        An experience with PLC's (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), panel wiring and steam systems and background in food production environments would be advantageous

Qualifications:

·        Ideally a City & Guilds or MVQ / BTEC in Electrical Maintenance / Installation

·        Ideally 18th Edition (BS 7671:2022) certification

Hours of work are 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Saturday on a rota with 1 day off in the week with overtime available during busy periods.

The starting salary is £40kpa, with excellent company benefits.
