Job Title: Fabrication Operative
Location: Milton Keynes
Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour
Contract: 3-Month Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)

We are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Operative to join our client’s growing team in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong fabrication and assembly experience to join a supportive and skilled team. The initial contract is for 3 months, but for the right candidate, there is real potential to move into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble modular metal frames using company-supplied components

• Follow detailed technical drawings to ensure accurate builds

• Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and effectively

• Work with metric measurements and maintain high levels of accuracy

• Lift and manoeuvre heavy materials as part of the assembly process

• Troubleshoot and solve problems that may arise during fabrication

• Maintain a clean and organised work area

• Ensure quality control and attention to detail throughout all stages of production

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Strong metric and numeric skills

• Hands-on experience using fabrication tools and machinery

• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials

• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities

• High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
