A leading food production site in Derby (Ascot Drive) is looking for a motivated and reliable Food Production Operative to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a temp to perm position with consistent hours and career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Breaking down pork primals as part of the meat processing team.

• Boning and trimming meat to the required specification.

• Following food hygiene, safety, and quality standards in line with factory operative procedures.

• Supporting the wider production team to meet targets and deadlines.

• Keeping work areas clean and organised to maintain food safety standards.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a food production operative, factory operative, or in butchery/meat processing (preferred but not essential).

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality products.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Punctual, reliable, and comfortable with early start times.
