Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of an HGV Class 1 Tipper vehicle, transporting materials and goods to designated destinations.
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and ensuring the highest standards of safety during transit.
- Loading and unloading materials using the vehicle's tipping mechanism, while maintaining stability and proper weight distribution.
- Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues to the relevant authorities.
- Planning routes and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries, while considering traffic conditions and logistical requirements.
- Communicating with clients, colleagues, and supervisors to provide updates on delivery status and address any questions or concerns.
- Completing necessary paperwork, such as delivery documents and logbooks, to maintain accurate records of activities.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid HGV Class 1 driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points and no active disqualifications.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) certification and tachograph card.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Tipper Driver, with a solid understanding of driving regulations and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of the Stoke-on-Trent area and surrounding regions, with the ability to navigate efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of professionalism and safety.

This temporary position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from £16.00 to £16.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
