Class 2 Skip Delivery Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Westcott (Just Outside Aylesbury)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Start Times Between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM | Approx. 10-Hour Days
Pay Rate: £14 – £16 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Are you an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with the potential to go permanent? We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-respected waste management and recycling company based in Westcott, near Aylesbury, who are seeking a professional and reliable Skip Delivery Driver to join their team.

This is a temp-to-perm position, offering full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with early starts and no weekend work.

Role Overview:

As a Class 2 Skip Delivery Driver, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business, delivering and collecting skips across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas. You’ll be expected to operate skip vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service at each drop-off and collection point.

Main Duties:

• Operating a Class 2 HGV with skip loader equipment to deliver and collect skips

• Performing daily walkaround checks and reporting any defects promptly

• Ensuring loads are safely secured and compliant with road safety regulations

• Communicating professionally with customers and site staff

• Completing all relevant delivery and collection paperwork accurately

• Supporting yard operations and assisting the team when required

• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Minimum 2 years of HGV Class 2 driving experience

• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

• A good understanding of driving and load safety regulations

• Strong work ethic and a professional, courteous attitude

• Ability to work independently and manage your own delivery schedule

• Skip experience is highly desirable but not essential – full training will be provided for the right candidate
