Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Pay Rate: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work available)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join a reputable general haulage company based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced drivers looking for long-term, stable work with excellent earning potential and career progression.

You will be responsible for the collection and delivery of general goods to various customers across the UK. The work is palletised, with no handballing on most routes, and typically involves between 1–5 drops per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of general haulage goods

• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

• Ensuring accurate completion of delivery paperwork

• Maintaining excellent customer service on all routes

• Adhering to driving regulations and company procedures

Requirements:

• Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• A good level of physical fitness (light manual handling may be required)

• Willingness to learn and adapt (especially for newly qualified drivers)
