Workchain is currently seeking a Production Operative to join our client in Leicester, LE19 on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, our client are looking for a semi skilled Production Operative to work as part of a busy production department. This role would suit someone who has worked in a production, manufacturing or print environment.

Immediate interviews and starts are available.

The role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Operating and maintaining machinery to ensure smooth production runs

·        Monitoring product quality and making adjustments as necessary

·        Ensuring the department meets production targets and deadlines

·        Following health and safety protocols at all times

·        Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency across work areas

·        Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and taking pride in the final product

Key Experience:

·        Excellent attention to detail

·        Ability to operate production machinery

·        Strong team player with good communication skills

·        Technically minded with problem solving ability

Ideally candidates will have a previous experience in the print industry and print processes however full training will be provided.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00pm.

The starting salary is £24kpa, with excellent company benefits.
