Warehouse Operative – Castle Donington (Temp to Perm)

Location: Castle Donington, Derby
Shifts: Rotating – 06:00–14:30 / 14:00–22:30 (Monday–Friday, shorter shift on Friday)
Type: Temporary to Permanent (after 13 weeks)
Pay: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour

The Role

We’re looking for hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our growing team in Castle Donington. This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, or Logistics Operative, but full training will be provided.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Picking and packing orders

• Loading and unloading goods

• General warehouse duties and housekeeping

• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines

• Operating FLT equipment – FLT licence preferred but not essential (training can be provided)

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential

• Reliability and strong work ethic

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts

• Good attention to detail

• 5-year checkable work history

• Basic DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• FLT licence preferred but not essential
