Workchain is currently seeking a skilled Mig and Tig Welder to join our client, based in Malmesbury, SN16 on a permanent basis.

Our client is a fully integrated subcontractor that supplies various sectors with precision machined components and parts and provides the fabrication and production of industrial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Weld and fabricate and assemble various sheet metal components
Work from engineering drawings to complete customer orders
Fasten and join seams in sheet metal work with welding
Use hand and power tools to quality check metal surfaces and joints and produced parts that have been assembled

Key Experience:

Experience of Mig and Tig Welding within a production or manufacturing environment
An experience in the assembly of sheet metal components and fabrications
Be able to read and work from customer drawings and orders

Qualifications:

Ideally hold current welding certificates or a basic qualification in any Engineering discipline and an experience of working within a Mig and Tig welding environment.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm however our client will be flexible with working hours.

The starting salary is £17.50 per hour with overtime available and excellent company benefits.
