Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Sutton in Ashfield, NG17 Type: Permanent Industry: Technical and Engineering Salary: £41,500 per annum + O/T + excellent company benefits Workchain is currently seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Sutton in Ashfield, NG17 on a permanent basis.We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, who has an experience of both mechanical and electrical repairs and servicing within a manufacturing environment.This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.Immediate interviews and starts are available. Key Responsibilities:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform general maintenance including PPM and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment including extrusion machines, in house packing machines and general on site equipment·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure compliance with Health &amp; Safety regulations are met at all times·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work closely with department managers and contractors to resolve issues efficiently·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain tools, supplies and accurate service recordsKey Experience:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hands on experience in maintenance engineering role and repairs within a manufacturing environment however other experiences will be considered·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong fault finding and problem solving skills within a mechanical and electrical capacityQualifications:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ideally a City &amp; Guilds or MVQ / BTEC in Electrical Maintenance / InstallationHours of work are a continental shift pattern, 4 days on 6.00am to 6.00pm, 4 days off, 4 nights on 6.00pm to 6.00am, 4 days off.The starting salary is £41,500kpa, with excellent company benefits.If you are a dedicated and experienced maintenance engineer looking for a new opportunity, then we want to hear from you.Please apply online and complete the application form to be considered for this position.

Reporting to the Toolroom Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be working as part of a team supporting the manufacturing department with tooling solutions across.This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.Immediate interviews and starts are available. Key Responsibilities:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fully trained and competent in using milling machines, Lathe, Spark Eroder and precision surface grinders·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competent in reading, understanding and converting various complex tool drawings into final production tooling·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Required to use 2d Auto Cad for the design of various tools·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to build tools from start to finish including tooling development / tuningKey Experience:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An engineering apprenticeship at level 3 or above would be desirable·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good knowledge of tool room machinery and its capabilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Understanding of all Health and Safety systems and toolmaking practices·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous experience within a plastic extrusion or aluminium manufacturing environment would be advantageousHours of work Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm with overtime available during busy periods.The starting salary is £19.50 per hour, with excellent company benefits.If you are a dedicated and experienced toolmaker looking for a new opportunity, then we want to hear from you.Please apply online and complete the application form to be considered for this position.
