Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Location: Basildon Type: Permanent Industry: Logistics Salary: £37,500kpa + excellent company benefits Workchain is currently seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client in Basildon on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Road Freight Manager and the Logistics Manager, this is an exciting time to be joining our client with a busy working environment and business growth plans throughout 2025.&nbsp;Immediate interviews and starts are available.&nbsp;The role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 6.00am to Finish, an element of flexibility will be needed during busy periods. &nbsp; Key Responsibilities:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collecting and delivering freight around the Essex / London areas·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Group / multi drop routes including tail lifting·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensuring all loads and deliveries are checked for any differences·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Daily vehicle checks·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensuring all delivery paper work is completed correctly and customer service levels are met·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Daily collections and deliveries to a select E16 clientKey Experience and Qualifications:HGV Class 2 Driving Licence, Digital Tacho, Driver CPC, 5 years full work history with no gaps due to referencing and CAA (aviation security checks).The role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 6.00am to Finish, an element of flexibility will be needed during busy periods. &nbsp;The starting salary is £37.5kpa, with excellent company benefits.If you are a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a new opportunity, then we want to hear from you.Please apply online and complete the application form to be considered for this position.
