Reporting to the Toolroom Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be working as part of a team supporting the manufacturing department with tooling solutions across.This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.Immediate interviews and starts are available. Key Responsibilities:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fully trained and competent in using XYZ milling machines, Lathe, Spark Eroder and precision surface grinder·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competent in reading, understanding and converting various complex tool drawings into final production tooling·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Required to use 2d Auto Cad for the design of various tools·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to build tools from start to finish including tooling development / tuning·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Able to program and operate EDM wire Eroders·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide support and training to tool room apprentice as requiredKey Experience:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An engineering apprenticeship at level 3 or above would be desirable·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good knowledge of tool room machinery and its capabilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Understanding of all Health and Safety systems and toolmaking practices·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous experience within a plastic manufacturing environment would be advantageousHours of work Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm with overtime available during busy periods.The starting salary is £32,400kpa, with excellent company benefits.If you are a dedicated and experienced toolmaker looking for a new opportunity, then we want to hear from you.Please apply online and complete the application form to be considered for this position.
