Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Derby Type: Permanent Industry: Technical and Engineering Salary: £40,000 per annum + O/T + excellent company benefits Workchain is currently seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Derby on a permanent basis.We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a field based role covering maintenance and repairs across retail shops in the East Midlands, with occasional support in a Derby head office.The position includes on call duties with on call premiums paid.This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.Immediate interviews and starts are available. Key Responsibilities:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform general maintenance including PPM and emergency repairs on in store machinery·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain and repair in store equipment including ovens, fridges, lighting and plumbing·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure compliance with Health &amp; Safety regulations are met at all times·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work closely with store teams and contractors to resolve issues efficiently·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain tools, supplies and accurate service records·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide excellent levels of customer service at all timesKey Experience:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hands on experience in maintenance engineering role and repairs within a maintenance environment·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong fault finding and problem solving skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Candidates will hold a full UK driving licence·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An experience with PLC's (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), panel wiring and steam systems and background in food production environments would be advantageousQualifications:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ideally a City &amp; Guilds or MVQ / BTEC in Electrical Maintenance / Installation·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ideally 18th Edition (BS 7671:2022) certificationHours of work are 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Saturday on a rota with 1 day off in the week with overtime available during busy periods.The starting salary is £40kpa, with excellent company benefits.If you are a dedicated and experienced maintenance engineer looking for a new opportunity, then we want to hear from you.Please apply online and complete the application form to be considered for this position.
