Workchain is currently seeking a Multi Skilled CNC Miller Turner to join our client in Leicester on a permanent basis.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi Skilled CNC Miller Turner. As a CNC Miller Turner you will be able to program, set up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC vertical

machining centres and CNC lathes.

This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.

Immediate interviews and starts are available.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Programming and operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment

·        Knowledge of CAD CAM software, preferable Fanuc, Accurite Millpwr and Heidenhain TNC 410

·        Knowledge of machining metals and engineering plastics

·        Carry out machine preventive maintenance and checks

·        Quality control duties

·        Ensure that safe working practices and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times

Key Experience:

·        Experience in CNC programming

·        Experience in milling, machining and turning

·        Able to work from engineering drawings

·        Good organizational skills

·        Ability to work under minimum supervision

·        Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Hours of work are 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.00pm.

The starting salary is £35kpa, with excellent company benefits.
